The Megavoltage Acceptance and Commissioning Service (MACS) is an independent organisation able to provide services, support and advice on the Purchase, Acceptance, Commissioning and Quality Control of X-ray and electron beam radiotherapy treatment machines.
Following extensive Commissioning work on the 6MV and 10MV beam data, checking of the final beam model in the Prowess Treatment Planning System at the Glasgow Small Animal Hospital was completed. Testing involved Monitor Unit and isocontour assessments and the work was completed on the 7th February 2014
